  • Melbourne: the city of pretty things

Went to Melbourne recently for a Jerry Ghionis workshop.
I almost didn't make it but time, free airline ticket, and free lodgings allowed me the experience of a lifetime.
In addition to the workshop, I got a chance to stroll around the beautiful city.
And what a beautiful city Melbourne is.

Here are some shots I took at the workshop.

These 2 were directed by Jerry.
The very beautiful bride, Vanessa (she's a chameleon of expressions, sexy one minute, funky the next).  I think she looks like Monika Beluci here.

The very cute couple: Phil and Olivia (so young and so cutely in love). . . ahhh, to be young and in love. :)

These were by me after some tips from Jerry.

    Day 1: Tanya
I was so nervous with Tanya that I didn't do her much justice.  :(
But I bless her for her patience and good nature

    Day 2: Nick and Sharifa
What a fun and loving couple these two are!
I hope someday to find someone I can be this in love with.
They're literally just oozing with love and affection.

Day 2.5:  Photographer Kris  (I call him my lil James Dean. . . hehe)
Each of us had to photograph a fellow photographer, and what luck! I got Kris. . .
tho I kept calling him Phil (he thot I was giving him a nickname so didn't correct me).
After this shot, I started calling him James.  hehe

    Photographers Holly and Chris
The lot of us went bowling and these 2 were cornered into taking pictures (without much resistance, mind you).
    Don't they just look hot?
    I mean, sizzling hot!  SEXY!

Last Day:  Strolling around Melbourne with some of my new friends
After the workshop ended, there were a few of us reluctant to leave as we've bonded a lot in this short time.
So we decided to explore Melbourne together.
    I truly truly enjoyed myself.

This picture was taken with a wide angle lens and pop-up flash. . . unfortunately, the flash was on my face.
    But the men look good.

I learned so much this week about photography, about business, about me.
Its going to be a scary but exciting ride; this transition from food to photography.
Its going to be an amazing ride.
I can't wait to see what happens next.
